I blend my background in marine biology as a seaweed scientist, with my artistic expression inspired by surfing, to create kelp art that captures the essence of the ocean. I learned how to create cyanotypes and pressings as a way to study and collect marine specimens. Each art piece communicates and celebrates marine botany, natural history, and phycology (the study of algae). I capture the delicate and psychedelic beauty of marine life, bringing a literal piece of the ocean to your space.
